I am a lady in her 50's, married,I have eight children with 7 grown and on there own, 1 of the 8 children are under age yet. I have 10 grandchildren. I also have 3 publish books out. Two are Children Educational with drawings for 3-7 year olds, the third one is of different type short stories for 10 plus years. I also like poetry and drawing, I do cartoon type drawings the most. I also do some painting. P.S. Synopsis

The Prince and The Rabbit Synopsis

A young Prince has no friends he takes a walk in the woods one day and makes one but where will this adventure lead him? He doesn't want to let his friends know he is a Prince because he wants to be treated normal by others and such.

Along time ago there lived a young man in a far away land called Peach Grove.

The Princes name was Michael.

He is such a lonely young man."Why you ask?" Because he had no friends and offten grew upset over it.

Prince Michael has ask hiself many a times, "why don't I have any friends?"

"What have I done wrong to not have any asking hiself while out walking through the woods?"

Just as Prince Michael got that out he heard a voice telling him I will be your friend. Prince Michael turned to look toward the voice but could not see anything then asks, "Where are you and who are you Prince Michael called out?"

Over here the voice sighed. Where is over here at replied Prince Michael asks ? "Right behinded you of course you silly human!" As Prince Michael turned around suddenly he was quit shock to see what the voice that spoke to him was. "Why your a Rabbit Prince Michael remark."

Yeah so what snickered the Rabbit! What is your name Rabbit demaned Prince Michael?

My mom calls me Shamrock. What kind a name is that laugh the Prince?

"Mine human Shamrock sighed back!"

"Okay then" I will call you Sham, is that alright asks Prince Michael?

Well I guess it will be okay.

By the way human what are you called?

Not knowing if the Prince should let the Rabbit know he is of Royal blood he decides to tell Shamrock his name was Michael, now that we know eachothers names replied Shamrock he asks the Prince if he would except his friendship request.

Thinking for a minute Prince Michael replies back, sure why not we may become the best of friends one day.

Michael replied Shamrock, yeah answers Michael then Shamrock asks, would you like to take a short walk?

Sure but not to far sighed Michael. Why is that asks Shamrock? Prince Michael remarks back, because my mom told me not to be gone long it's nearly lunch time.

How old are you Michael asks Shamrock? Prince Michael tells him he is 15 years old. Oh Okay! Why do you ask remark Prince Michael? No reason, I just was curious is all sighed Shamrock.

Prince Michael asks Shamrock how old he was.Shamrock told him he was going on two years old. That's not very old. Shamrock replied maybe in human years that's not very old but in animal years it was. Oh,Okay remark Prince Michael.

Shamrock then ask Prince Michael if he'd like to take a short walk with him and talk. He responded by telling Shamrock I guess but not for long."Why is that?" Because my Mom will send people to come look for me if I am gone to long! "How come asks Shamrock?" "I'd rather not talk about it right now." Knowing that Shamrock said Okay then replied lets walk then.

Prince Michael felt bad telling Shamrock what he had with no good reason so he procided to tell him this, Sham, Yes he replied back. I will give you more information on me later on down the road as we get to know eachother okay sighed Prince Michael. "Alright I'll wait Shamrock sighed."

Lets keep walking replied Shamrock.

Where are you taking me Rabbit ask Prince Michael? Just keep walking we'll soon be there then I will show you.

Speachless for a moment, Prince Michael spoke up and said Okay I'll trust you for now.

Well then shall we resume our walk remark Shamrock?

Yes I guess we can Rabbit replies Prince Michael.

I just can't go far or be gone long.Where would you like to go Prince Michael asks the rabbit? "Oh I don't know replied Prince Michael lets just walk for now until we do decide." They walk about ten minutes and came up on a creekside. My feet grow tiered sighed Prince Michael. Look there is a creek there, shall we sit to rest asks Shamrock? Why yes that "sounds good to me." "Okay then lets sit!"

I also grow thirsty remarks Prince Michael. Shamrock tells him to stoop down by the water and cup his hands to get some cool water from the creek and drink it replied Shamrock. "That sounds good to me but is the water safe to drink asks Prince Michael?" "Yes I belive so, it don't seem to have a bad smell anyway replied Shamrock."

Alright sighs Prince Michael then does as Shamrock suggested to him. "Tastes good to me Prince Michael remark," and "he drank from the creek at least five minutes before he sat down!"

Shamrock also suggested that he take off his shoes and dangle his feet in the creek. Prince Michael thought about it a few more minutes and did just that.

"My how good this water feels good on my tiered feet!"

Sham would you like a cool refreshing drink also asks Prince Michael? "Sure why not remark Shamrock, I'm feeling a might thirsty myself!" "My this water is good replied Sham!" "It sure was sighed Prince Michael back."

Shall we proceed now my friend sighed Shamrock? Sure that's okay with me. Oh by the way Prince you do know they call this area we're in the woods don't you asks Shamrock?"No I didn't know that ,I never get out much.

Well then I guess you should listen to me right about now. There are many dangers in the woods even strange happenings that are within the woods and oh yeah there are animals of many kinds here too. Some can be mean and others aren't so beware my friend.

What time is it now Sham asks Prince Michael? I'm not sure my friend says Shamrock. But it could be later than we think.

"Lets sit a spell my feet hurt Sham replied Prince Michael." Okay I guess that would be alright,so they sit under a tree were there is lots of shade so they won't overheat,they have sit down and Prince Michael removes his shoes to cool his hot hurting feet. They've been siting about fourty-five minutes now and they both have doze off.

After awhile Shamrock wakes up and notices a nip in the air. He wakes up Prince Michael. "I'm awake you can stop shaking my feet now!" I feel a nip in the air it must be near night time.

It could be the skys are geting dark. "Oh my gosh," what on earth is wrong friend asks Shamrock? "My mother will be worried about me!" "It's getting dark already and I've been gone along time now!"

It's not dark yet but I know where a cabin is, you should be safe there until morning then I can help you find your way back home. My mother will be worried but I agree it's to late to start back it will be pitch black soon and I'll end up getting lost or something sighed Prince Michael.

How far is this cabin Sham asks The Prince? It's alittle ways up so lets get going, maybe we'll get there before it gets to be night fall.

Okay Sham lets do. Sham and Prince Michael have started to walk toward the cabin. It's getting darker Shamrock will these animals you told me of harm us asks The Prince? "There are some that will my Prince."

As they walk there is a cracking nosie, what's that Sham? I'm not sure replies Shamrock lets keep walking. "I feel as though there are things watching us." "There probablly is then just keep walking." The Prince looks to the trees while they walk and notices that there are some eyes staring down at them and becomes a bit worried over it.

Prince Michael asks Shamrock if he sees the whites of the many eyes staring at them as he does? Then they hear a different noise. What's that noise Shamrock? The noises start to get louder. "Then all of a sudden they hear a ruffled sound in a near by bush!"

"What's that asks Prince Michael?" "I'm not sure replies Shamrock." Then they see a couple young deer runing from behind the bush and duck down so they weren't seen by them. "Don't be afraid they are deer they won't hurt us." and then Shamrock pointed out the cabin in their sight up aways.

Look Prince Michael the cabin is up aways. "YEAH, replied The Prince!" They come upon the cabin and have check their surroundings which seemed to be safe for them to go inside and now have gone up to the frount door and check to see if it is open and it was, so they went inside to look about and find nothing so they decided to stay there for the night. The next day has come and Prince Michael relizes he has been gone from home overnight and
begins to get upset. What's wrong asks Shamrock? I've
been gone overnight and I'm sure my mother has notice it as well!
She will get worried if she does if I am not at home.Do
you have a cell phone on you asks Shamrock? Why yes I do.
Well then give her a call Shamrock suggested.
I guess I should try to give her a jingel. Prince Michael
has dialed his mothers number ringing about seven times shefinually answers her phone...Hello replies his mother excitedly, where are you son ? "You've been gone overnight are you okay son she asks?" I'm fine mom I and a new friend came to an empty Cabin we went inside to check it out we were so tiered from walking we must of fell asleep after we sat down he tells her. I am sorry I was gone overnight and did not let you know where I was and all, but I am leting you know now and "yes before you ask I am safe!" Are you telling me the truth son asks his mother? "Yes mamm I am telling you the truth,please don't worry I'll be home later." "Okay son I'll try not to worry but call me if you need help." "Okay mom bye."

Shamrock asks is everything okay my friend? "Yes I think so."
My mom was just worried because I was gone all night and
never let her know where I was. Shamrock asks have you ever been gone overnight before? "No I never have." No wonder she was worried replies Shamrock. My mom is the same way with me at sometimes as well Shamrock exclaimed.Then replied,I don't know why mother's worry so much when we're our ages. "I guess
that's a mother's job remark Prince Michael." Yeah I guess
exclaimed Shamrock back. Oh by the way my friend sighed
Prince Michael.

"What is it asks Samrock looking so concerned?"
I really need to tell you something, "but before I do you must promiss me nothing will change between us." What is so
important that you need to tell me? Then Shamrock sinckered,

"Are you a King or something?" "Your pretty close." "What are you saying Michael asks Shamrock?" You better sit down my friend exclaimed Prince Michael back.

"I must tell you I am Royalty." "What sighed Shamrock!" I am of Royal blood. "I am a Prince!" "Stunded for a few minutes Shamrock replied back,your-y-your a Prince?"

Why yes my friend sighed Prince Michael. Shamrock then replied you told me your name was Michael. "It is my friend." Since we're friends you can still call me Michael or if you feel the need to, you can call me Prince Michael if you choose to instead.

Are you sure sir sighed Shamrock? Why not asks Prince Michael?

"We're friends."

If you still want to be he remark." " It's okay with me if you don't mined a Rabbit as a friend sighed Shamrock.

"I don't mined friend exclaimed Prince Michael." Just relax now replied Prince Michael. I'll try to Shamrock replied back.

Let's be on our way back toward our own homes now Shamrock sighed Prince Michael. They are now on their way back talking and such as they kept walking homeward bound.

"You sure fooled me remark Shamrock." What are you saying asks Prince Michael as they walk.

"You being a Prince exclaimed Shamrock." Now half way home they stop to rest and get a cool drink from the creekside they came upon before. Prince Michael says there is the creek we past yesterday. Shamrock sighed back, why yes it is and remark, "at least we know we're headed the right way now huh!"

"Yeah your right it is the same one." After their drink the Prince and the Rabbit resumed their walk. Shamrock, yes Prince Michael, I just wanted to let you know I'm glad we met and became friends. "Why thank you sir sighed Shamrock." Your welcome my friend and any time you want to give me a call we'll make a time we can meet somewhere. But I don't have your cell number sir. I'll give it to you. "Okay replied the Rabbit." "Here it is a Shamrock." "Thank you." "I'll put it in my pants pocket in hopes it don't get lost and here is mine sir." "Why thank you." The Prince and the Rabbit talk as they walk. Here is my home Prince Michael and asks, are you sure you'll be okay on your own sir? "Yes" it's just a hope skip and a jump from here he replied back. I'll be fine my little furry friend! As Prince Michael walks aways up ahead he notices some royal subjects about. Hum, must be looking for me I assumethinking to hiself. Walking right up to them he surprizes them and spoke up and asks are you looking for someone? "Yes sir we are, and who might you be one of them asks?" "Look hard my royal subjects at me, who do you think I am?" Another subject whispers to the one that asks,he is Prince Michael! They all boweled to him and replied welcome home!"Your mom is worried sick over you being gone so long sir!" Well she can stop worring, I am home safe and sound now. As they walk toward Prince Michaels home and come upon the door to go inside Prince Michaels mother runs to him then embrases him asking him where he was and all. "I'm fine mother, I'm fine!" Prince Michael tells his mom all about everything. She asks him why didn't he call her? Pince Michael tells her he did and asks don't you remember mom? Yes but the phone lost signal during the call!
"I tried to call again but I could not get through to your phone and I became worried son." Well as you can plainly see I am fine so worry no more mom,than he gave her a hug and kiss and went to bed.
